Reflecting up to 97% of heat radiation, Dupont Tyvek e-Guard W1 is a reflective wall membrane designed to promote radiant heat reflection throughout summer and to reduce convective heat loss in winter. These elements all combine to increase the thermal efficiency of the construction, DuPont Tyvek e-Guard W1 is wind tight and vapour open too.
Helping to hit thermal efficiency targets and to meet building regulation, Tyvek e-Guard W1 has extremely durable design for long-term performance and sustained results throughout its life. Tyvek e-Guard W1 can also offer up to 4 months of UV protection if the walls are uncovered. For maximum performance and for long-term efficiency, Tyvek e-Guard W1 should be sealed and joined with Tyvek’s metallised tape and any window or door jambs should be detailed with Tyvek FlexWrap.
