This Farringdon Small Eco wood-burning stove pedestal is an optional extra that can be affixed to its corresponding Farringdon wood-burner to raise the height of the stove and to give an attractive pedestal stand that’s slimmer than the classic stand. Available in matte black or matte grey, this pedestal stand has a smaller column to support the wood-burner which can help to bring out design features or keep a minimalist space.
Fitting this pedestal stand is easy and doesn’t take any specialist skill or tools. The wood-burning stove must be laid onto its back, taking care not to damage the air control lever or the rear heat shield, before the standard factory-fitted feet on the stove are removed. Remove the air cover plate and store it somewhere for future use. The pedestal stand covers the opening where the plate once was. Line up the stand with the fixing holes on the base of the wood-burner and hand tighten the fixings in place.
Please be cautious when placing the stove back upright as its centre of gravity will have changed, making it more likely to topple over if it’s on uneven ground or on carpet.
